It’s Sunday morning and you just woke up. You’re excited. Excited because it’s football Sunday.

Well, let me tell you, I’m excited too. But I think my excitement level is just a little bit higher.

Each year from September to February this team consumes my life. It’s become a natural cycle for me.

In mere hours, that cycle begins again.

I couldn’t be happier. I love football and I love this team. So much so that I’m writing this at 2:00 AM. Normally for a blog like this, I’d wake up, write it out and post it. This one’s different though.

There’s Patriots football on tonight. Not in a day, not in a week, tonight. So here I am, in the wee hours of the morning, putting this together. I’ve been watching hype videos since Thursday morning and I am amped.

The feeling is indescribable. It’s one only Patriots fans know.

This cycle that begins tonight has potential, potential to give us something we value greatly, a Super Bowl Championship. Unlike other franchises, each season brings the possibility of winning it all. And that’s why we’re like this.

Nope, we’re not playing in the game, and nope, we’re not even involved with the team, but we’re a crazed fanbase. We live and die with everything this team does. There aren’t very many things that make us happier than the Patriots. I know it, you know it, we all know it.

I don’t have much more to say. Watching all the games today will be fun, sure, but once 8:30 hits, it’s all business.

I’ll let you go now. Before you leave, though, just do me a favor, watch these videos, and get ready for some Patriots football.

(Here we’ve got the video Edelman posted a couple days ago. It’s modeled after the trailer for Donald Glover’s show Atlanta. Pretty cool.)

(Start to get hyped with this one. You might have to watch in YouTube, but it’s worth it.)

(And my favorite one. TB12 posted this before XLIX. It’s outdated. But that doesn’t matter. Still resonates like the day he posted it.)

Thanks for reading & GO PATS.
