If there is one thing Tom Brady is not good at, it is running.
Even though he is the best quarterback in the history of the NFL, he has a cannon for an arm, and he has a super model wife, he just flat out SUCKS at running.
This is why what he did against the Chicago Bears on November 26th 2006 was an all time great moment.
Im going to try and set the situation for you guys.
Its the 4th quarter of a tie game (10-10) and the Patriots have the ball at the Bears 25 yard line. It’s 3rd and 9 and Brady is lined up in the shotgun.
After the snap Brady looks around and notices there is nothing but green grass in front of him… except for All-Pro linebacker, Brian Urlacher. One of the most feared defenders at this time.
When Urlacher jumps out of coverage and heads towards Tom, Tommy hits him with a little shimmy move and cuts to the outside, blowing right past Urlacher and gains more than enough yards for a first down.
Did I think Brady could do this? No. Did anyone think the man who runs like he has concrete in his cleets was capable of this move? Definitely not. But thats Tom. Proving us wrong time and time again. Holy shit I love this man.
Maybe the only play that matches up with the juke is the pass from Amendola last year.
