Taylor McCloud — Pats Militia
For years, we’ve all heard stories about a different side of Tom Brady, one that’s just one of the boys. (Here’s one from a former teammate in which TB allegedly fleeced his lineman in a chugging contest.) Though, we’ve rarely been privy it. Instead, we see the über professional side. We see him dressed to the nines, with Giselle, with his kids, living a seemingly perfect life. Sure, he screams and throws shit on the sideline just like your average lunatic would, but that’s as close as we’ve gotten to seeing him as a normal dude.
But, last night, Tommy went on Conan, played some video games, and for one of the first times ever, we got to see him actually bro out. (Bro out might be strong.)
It wasn’t much, and he certainly didn’t do anything over the top, but it was so different from the status quo that I was hooked from the beginning. As insignificant as they may have seemed, little things like Brady getting competitive over video games or dropping an ‘oh shit’ in the middle of the video were still cool.
For a guy who’s so polished, almost to point of being robotic, to relax a little bit and have some fun on camera was awesome. It wasn’t crazy funny and it didn’t have me on the ground in stitches. It wasn’t played up or scripted like his commercials, but it was still cool to watch. And, I think cool is the perfect word to describe the whole video because watching him and Conan play video games, bust balls, and joke around with the other guys was just that — cool.
