The Patriots are heard to be interested in speedy wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
The Patriots are reportedly inquiring about free agent wide out DeSean Jackson, however, the Patriots are not willing to sign Jackson unless he takes a steep pay cut. Other teams such as the Cowboys, Eagles and Buccaneers are all linked to Jackson, as well.
The Patriots being in on DeSean Jackson sounds fun but unless he's ready to take a very steep discount, it isn't happening.

The Buccaneers are also reportedly throwing a good amount of money at Jackson to try and create a two headed monster with Mike Evans.
For all the talk that D Jackson is heading back to Philly, I am told the big money bidder is the Bucs at over 10 per year….wow…..

If this is the case, I would expect Jackson to sign with the highest bidder, however, Jackson, who has played in just seven career playoff games in his eight year career, may want to get a shot at a ring in New England.
Jackson brings a deep threat to New England’s already scary offense and if Jackson and Gronk are both on the field, they have the ability to open up the field for the Patriots other receivers.
This is definitely a story to keep an eye on as free agency has started and DeSean Jackson would fit in pretty well in Tom Brady’s offense.
